Back Again .......(for now at least....)

First, I'd really like to thank all of you who are reading this, aka Mom and Jordan. You guys rock.
Now onto the part of the blog post where I talk about what's going on in my life and pretend like people actually read this and care:
WHADDUP JUNIOR YEAR. Freaking hardest school year of my life. I am soooo overwhelmed with homework and tests and more homework and quizzes and I also have a ton of homework. AND on top of all of that, I have even more homework.
I have a job! Yeah, Culver's of Mishawaka, REPRESENT.
For the past 8 or so weeks I've been rehearsing for a Christmas production. I'm a dancer and (lip) singer. It's a ton of fun! We had our first two performances last weekend and we have performances the next two weekends!
I have no social life and my only friend is my dog, Bella. I love her. I have also learned that I am my own best friend, so that's been a really cool experience. hahahaha just kidding. but seriously, I can't wait for Christmas Break or something so I can finally get my social life back for two weeks.
So basically, that is why I have fell of the face of the blogger world. But this is my attempt at making a comeback, so stay tuned for more!

Chicago 2011...it's coming!!!

Can I just start out by saying AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE CHICAGO MISSION TRIP THIS YEAR!!!! you don't even know. (well, unless your going on the trip too, then you probably do know and you can join me when I once again say, AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!)
We had our first meeting tonight along with the Nicaragua and Move teams! And it got me PUMPED UPPPP. there are 56 people going to Chicago this year. 56 woah buddy, woah. Not even everyone was at the meeting tonight, but I can already tell that this is going to be an AMAZING trip. There are amazing leaders, amazing students, amazing this, amazing that. I am really excited to get to know every one of the memebers of the team! New friendships are bound to be made and previous friendships will for sure be strengthened. And I'm really excited to see how God works through each one of us and how he reveals himself to us through our preperation for the trip and on the trip. I.AM.REALLY.EXCITED.

Please pray with me as we prepare for this trip. We need your prayers! and they will make a great impact!! Crazy, awesome, amazing things are going to happen on this trip! I know it! i'm just gonna say it one more time...I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year to all 3 of you who will actually read this!
It's 2011 now and I am really looking forward to this year! I'm excited to see what all God has in store for me this year! Here's some things i'm looking forward to this year--

-my 16th birthday

-taking the SAT (okay, so i'm not really looking forward to this...but it's something big that's happening)

-spring break in Florida with my family, Jordan, the Usenicks, Celia, Kelly, some of my cousins, and old friends.

-finishing up my sophomore year of high school

-sweeeeet summa timeeee

-getting my liscense!!

-starting my junior year

-Christmas! (yeah, i look forward to it a year in advance)

Looking Back - 2010

Looking back on this past year, it was a really fun, challenging, crazy, busy, and awesome year!!! I grew a lot closer to many of my friends and i formed many new friendships, i experienced new things, i was challenged in ways i never thought i would be, and God revealed himself to me in ways i never knew were possible. Here were some of my highlights from this past year--

I survived my first (and only) year of Penn Choir. (yes, that was a BIG accomplishment and it is noteworthy)

I was able to invite one of my best friends, Jordan, to go on spring break with my family and I.


I went parasailing for the first time and it was sooo much fun!!!

I went on the Breathe retreat with some of my closest friends. It gave me a chance to spend a lot of time alone with God and it really helped me in my spiritual walk.

I was a counselor for the first time at Camp Adventure and I had the most amazing group everrrr!!! I love every one of them and it was one of the best weeks of my life!!

I went on my first mission trip to Chicago with an AMAZING team! I had SO much fun and I gained a lot of really close relationships.

EMILY CAN DRIIIIIIIVE!!! (yeah, its exciting)

I went to the beach a lotttt! And I got to spend a lottt of time with Emily and Olivia this summer!

I got to see my friends off to Nashville on their mission trip!

And although I didnt go, I wasnt forgotten (:


I was a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding


the CHOCOLATE obsession began...


we had the first official randomness party!!! and we made a new friend, (pictured above) SK!

we were robbers for halloweeeeeeeeeeeen

I was a leader at Renewal and had an AWESOME group of girls!!

and I continue to be apart of the best small group!!!

so there's a few years missing...but i promise you, i have dressed up every year of my life. 16 halloweens. and i plan to keep dressing up and trick-or-treating until i am no longer allowed to (which may possibly be next year because i was informed monday that there is a law being passed about not being able to trick-or-treat unless you are 12 or under. that seriously ruined my day. i'm not even kidding you the slightest bit) dressing up in outfits you can't wear any other day of the year without getting weird looks, seeing other creative costumes, and FREE CANDY! yeah, halloween has been good to me these past 16 years...

Love yourself.

Summer Stress

I love summer. A LOT. like really, i love it. but i'm not exactly loving it right now. i have a lot to do before school starts and i really dont like thinking about it. i have to:
-read 2 books and write 8 papers for summer reading for honors english
-find time to go drive because right now, i suck. really bad.
-sign up to go drive 6 hours with an instructor
-finally hang things up and finish my room...its only taken me 3 years to finally get around to doing that. literally.
-clean, clean, clean, like legit clean my room.
-clean out my bags from last school year...procrastinate much? yeeep.
-find out a way to get some money, becasue since emily can drive people now, i'm becoming broke, very, very fast.

yes, i love summer. a whole lot! but i want to punch every one of the things above becasue they are going to keep me from being really lazy the rest of this summer.

thanks for reading my little vent to my summer to do list. this made me feel a bit better.

Well Hello There!

HELLLLLO BLOG WORLD!!
i havent been on here in a while! hahah i thought i'd give you all an update of my life even though i'm pretty sure not many of you will care! (but it's my blog and i can put on here what i want! so HA!)

so a few weekends ago i went to Breathe. It was a high school retreat for my youth group and i absolutely LOVED it. more to come about it when i eventually make a blog post about it...

the last GSM of the school year was last sunday!!! it was very bittersweet. I'm so excited because it means school is almost out and summer is on its way and with summer come CAAAAAAAMP!!!!!!! and the chicago mission trip i'm going on!!! but it also means GSM is over until the fall and there's many people i wont see as often anymore!

speaking of camp...I GET TO BE A CAMP COUNSELOR IN JUNE!!!!!! and i am PUUUMMPEDDD!!! (:

school is suuuper stressful right now with finals and for some reason all of my teachers decided to save alllll of the homework that i never got all year so they could give it to me the last 2 weeks of school. how thoughtful!! so i'm craming in as much homework and studying as i can and i am stressed ouuuuut!

so this was pretty much a pointless post...i promise the next one might be a little more interesting (;

sooo uhhh...i dont really know what to type........awkward keyboard silence...........cricket, cricket.
well i'm back in school again! yayyy! haha nottt. thankfully there is only 143 days left until summer vacation! whooooop whoop! (: AAAAAAANNNNDDDDD, THERE'S ONLY 160 DAYS UNTIL CAMP IN JUNE AND 181 DAYS UNTIL CAMP IN JULY!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is some exciting stuff right there!

well, i think i have just sucessfully completed the most pointless blog post of this year! and at the same time its not pointless because of the sacred information about camp!!! aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Finally! (:

school is finally out!! for 2 weeks at least! (:
i needed a break from school. all of my finals are done, most of the stress is gone, and the school year is already half way over! its crazy!

CHRISTMAS break (as i like to call it) has offically begun. and what did i do on my first night? well, i was going to go to a birthday party, but since rugby yesterday made my stomach hurt all day today, i didn't feel good enough to go. so i stayed home, watched Santa Claus, got on the computer, made and wrapped a few christmas gifts, and listened to music (which consisted of the backstreet boys and nsync. hahaha i was reliving my younger years (: ) although i felt as if i had no life, it was a quite relaxing night. now the next two weeks, next week for sure, there is going to be little time for relaxing.

tomorrow (saturday): second small group christmas movie/gift exchange (:, going to fort wayne, staying the night at my dad's house
sunday: first (kind of second) christmas of many, coming back home
monday: relaxing durning the day! (: then over to jordans for our small group sleep over! (:
tuesday: i have no idea. probably last minute christmas shopping.
wednesday: me, melia, and abby are going to swiss valley to eat (: hahaha and maybe ski?
thursday: back to fort wayne for christmas eve! coming back home later that night. christmas eve service at 11
friday: CHRISTMAS!! going back to fort wayne for the day. coming back that night.
saturday: christmas with the millers
sunday: back to fort wayne for christmas with my mom's side of the family and to celebrate my grandpas birthday! i have no idea when we are coming back.
monday: hopefully relaxing!
tuesday: rugby /: relaxing.
then nothing the rest of the week yet! (: me and olivia need to go shopping for our snowball dresses sometime that week...but i dunno when.
oh! and then on sunday: GSMMMMMM!!!! (:(:(:
so this was really a completely pointless post. but now you can stalk me for the next 1 and half weeks!

note to jordan: you will be quized over this post to see if you really creep me or not. i believe that you do. which kiiiinda creeps me out a lot. i'm honored to call you my friend.
